With new duplexes rising in popularity throughout the area, it was essential for this one to stand out through elevated styling. The goal was to enhance the modern architecture while capturing a lifestyle-driven aesthetic throughout the space.
Selecting designer furniture
The designer furniture selections for this home were anchored by the standout GlobeWest ‘Juno Frame 3-Seater Sofa’—a hero piece in the living room that set the tone for the entire space. Complementing this were GlobeWest occasional chairs, chosen not only for their compact form that maintains a sense of openness, but also for their soft boucle texture that adds warmth and zones the living area with effortless sophistication.

When styling this property, the downstairs living and dining areas were key focal points to get just right. With the elegance of high ceilings, it was essential that our furniture scale and artwork placement complemented the architectural features without overwhelming them. A fun challenge, however, came with the upstairs rumpus. As an open, non-enclosed space, it needed to function as both a stylish landing zone at the top of the stairs and a practical second living area—balancing form and function for the upper level.
