Styling the dream property
This property has been styled to create a practical coastal oasis just 10 minutes from the beach. Our property stylist, Logan Jones, selected coastal furniture and accessories in a neutral colour palette to complement the home’s materials. Logan styled the space to portray a lifestyle that future buyers can envision, with thoughtful touches like open coffee table books, coffee mugs on side tables, and chopping boards against the kitchen splashback. The result is a practical, affordable, and aesthetically pleasing design that resonates with buyers, making them feel at home and personally connected to the space.
Selecting designer furniture
For this home, the focus was on selecting designer furniture that emphasised textures and materials to enhance the overall aesthetic. We used plenty of oak and timber to achieve a coastal, clean look, which was softened with upholstered items like chairs, sofas, and bedheads. The designer furniture was complemented by linen throws, plush cushions, and bright white Hamptons-inspired decor. This provided a beautiful contrast, particularly in the kitchen area, against the navy blue cabinetry.

The key rooms in this property include the main open-plan living area, which encompasses the kitchen, living room, dining area, and study nook. Designed for a family who loves the beach and coastal lifestyle, this home allows them to seamlessly transition from outdoor activities to indoor comfort. The flow from the pool and outdoor dining area to the lounge and kitchen is smooth and practical. Staging this area was crucial to maintaining both flow and functionality. We chose a round dining table to minimise interference with foot traffic and an L-shaped sofa with a small chaise, allowing easy access from both the dining area and the hallway. This setup ensures the space feels open and unrestricted, perfect for a dynamic family lifestyle.
