Styling the dream property
This brand new duplex on the Sunshine Coast, listed with Ray White Real Estate, is just seconds from the beach. The property is very open, family-friendly, and perfect for those who love a modern coastal aesthetic. Since it is a new property, we focused on the logistics of the build and styling to sell the dream home. Considering that potential buyers might have a family or host many guests, given the four-bedroom layout, we chose a six-seater dining table and a practical upstairs second lounge area to accommodate the residents. We embraced the modern coastal design in our styling to create a seamless look that buyers would appreciate, ensuring it appealed for all the right reasons.
Selecting designer furniture
To match the calibre of this brand new home and the price expectations set by the real estate agents, we utilised high-end designer furniture in key rooms as anchors for our styling. In the main living area, our property stylist Logan paired the La Forma Martina 3-seater sofa with the Kolbi Dune Rise Entertainment Unit and the GlobeWest Willa Marble Coffee Table. These statement pieces allowed her to adopt a minimalist approach to the rest of the styling, perfectly reflecting the modern coastal aesthetic.

As with most projects, the open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area is the heart of the home and where we spend the majority of our time, making it a key focus. In this property, since you get a bird’s-eye view of the area and the outdoor zone as you walk down the stairs, it was crucial for our styling to create both a beautiful and functional design from both perspectives. The furniture and accessories needed to complement the property while being appropriately scaled, as the layout becomes especially noticeable from above.
